We believe skincare became more complicated than skin ever asked it to be. Lark & Lull was created to move in the opposite direction: fewer products, shorter formulas, clearer labels, and a ritual you can actually live with.
Less, but better.
For years, beauty has been sold through addition. Another serum. Another active. Another step. Another bottle promising to fix the problem created by the bottle before it.
We wanted to ask a different question: what deserves to stay?
For our core ritual, that means deeply moisturizing ingredients, formulas that are easy to understand, and products that can earn a permanent place on the shelf instead of becoming another unfinished bottle.
A clearer label.
A little more quiet.
Transparency over buzzwords.
Words like “clean,” “natural,” and “non-toxic” can sound reassuring without actually telling you what is inside a product.
We would rather show you the ingredient list.
Our tallow creams contain five ingredients. Our raw shea butter contains one. When a product contains fragrance, essential oils, or a longer formula, we believe that should be clear too.
We do not believe an unfamiliar ingredient is automatically a bad ingredient, and we do not believe a plant-derived ingredient is automatically appropriate for every person.
Transparency means giving you enough information to make your own decision.
Made with motherhood in mind.
Pregnancy has a way of changing how you look at everything around you — including the back of a skincare jar.
What once felt automatic can suddenly become something you research, reconsider, and read twice.
Lark & Lull was built with that woman in mind.
Not by telling her what she should fear. Not by pretending every ingredient comes with a simple answer. But by making it easier to see what is actually inside the products she chooses.
Pregnancy may be where the ritual begins. It does not have to be where it ends.
Ritual over routine.
A routine can feel like another obligation.
A ritual is different.
It can be two quiet minutes after a shower. Shea butter on a growing belly. Tallow cream on winter hands. A familiar scent at the end of a long day.
The products are only part of it.
The rest is the pause.
Keep what earns its place.
We prefer purposeful formulas and routines that can be understood without a chemistry degree.
Show the label.
We want customers to know what they are applying, not rely on vague marketing language.
Make fewer things matter more.
Lark & Lull is built around a smaller ritual rather than an endless collection of steps.
No miracle language.
Skincare can moisturize, cleanse and support how skin feels and looks. It does not need impossible promises to be worth using.
For the years after.
We began with motherhood in mind, but we are building Lark & Lull for more than one season.
For dry hands. Cold mornings. Changing skin. Busy bathrooms. Quiet nights. And whatever comes next.
Welcome to Lark & Lull.
